Robert Schumann wrote his Scenes From Childhood in 1838. These are thirteen pieces for solo piano, which Schumann grouped in a single set for publishing. Though they are usually considered to evoke reminiscences of childhood through the music, it is known that Schumann had initially titled them Easy Pieces. Performed by Donald Betts and accompanied by a beautiful HD video.
